GEODIS challenges the French Anti-Trust Authority’s ruling and decides to appeal

December, 15 2015

GEODIS was informed of the French Anti-Trust Authority’s ruling condemning GEODIS of illicitly exchanging commercial pricing information with other key players of the French Distribution & Express Market. This ruling aims at old practices that arose in 2004 and were implemented within the TLF (French Transport & Logistics) Professional Organization before GEODIS joined said Organization.

GEODIS is not at all affected by another claim made by the French Anti-Trust Authority concerning fuel surcharge mechanisms.

GEODIS points out that, since the beginning of this investigation, its position has always been the same ; GEODIS has therefore chosen to challenge the French Anti-Trust Authority’s decision by lodging an appeal at the Paris Court of Appeals.

GEODIS has a robust compliance program across the entire Group in order to prevent any misconduct.
